So it's surely disappointing for PC and Xbox One players that they may get the DLC a month after their PS4 counterparts, or, possibly not at all, as unlikely as that may be. And while that deal was also in place when Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 was released back in 2015, some fans were hoping that perhaps everyone would get access to this DLC at the same time. Players of the Sony console have enjoyed a timed exclusivity arrangement for several Call of Duty releases now, with DLC coming to PS4 before it's released on PC and Xbox One.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombie Chronicles will be available on May 16 but PlayStation 4 is the only platform confirmed so far – though it is expected to come to PC and Xbox One at a later date. Although Blundell called the DLC "a loving, fan-service piece" that has been put together "by remaking and remastering eight of the original maps," some fans won't be happy with Treyarch and publisher Activision's release plans for the content.
